2 Loud alleluias to Thy name Angels and seraphim proclaim; Eternal praise to Thee is given
By all the powers and thrones in heaven.
3 The apostles join the glorious throng; The prophets aid to swell the song; The noble and triumphant host
Of martyrs make of Thee their boast. |
4 The holy church in every place Throughout the world exalts Thy praise; Both heaven and earth do worship Thee, Thou Father of eternity!
5 From day to day, O Lord, do we Highly exalt and honor Thee; Thy name we worship and adore, World without end, for evermore.

2 Though high above all praise, Above all blessing high, Who would not fear His holy name, And laud, and magnify? [3 O for the living flame,
From His own altar brought, To touch our lips, our minds inspire, And wing to heaven our thought. |
4 God is our strength and song,
And His salvation ours; Then be His love in Christ proclaimed With all our ransomed powers.
5 Stand up, and bless the Lord,
The Lord your God adore; Stand up, and bless His glorious name, Henceforth for evermore.
